Causal Loop is a narrative puzzle game that blends mind-bending mechanics with a rich sci-fi story. You play Bale — an exo-archaeologist who arrives on the alien planet Tor-Ulsat with his colleague Jen to investigate a signal amongst the ruins of a lost civilization, only to accidentally activate the Chronolith, an ancient alien device that shatters reality. You’re joined by Walter, your AI colleague who shares your mutual reluctance to work together, with the mission of fixing what is now broken: reality itself.
Built by ex-Blizzard veterans with more than 40 years combined experience across series like Starcraft, Diablo, and Overwatch, Mirebound is going to make waves when the industry realizes what a dedicated team of three people is capable of.
I took on the role of Bale Drewitt, the main character of Causal Loop. Along the way, I became good friends with the Mirebound team and learned what it looks like when a team works so hard to bring their dreams to life.
